  • Tommy dyer

    elder/involvement ministry leader

    Tommy and Mary have worked and served with the church here in Fernandina for the past 17 years. Both Mary and Tommy grew up in Christian homes, Tommy in Texas and Mary in Florida which led to their meeting at York Christian College, Nebraska. Their grown children live in the Tampa/St.Pete area, along with 2 grandsons and 2 grand puppies. Tommy has enjoyed a business career in sales, marketing and recruiting in healthcare and he is looking forward to semi retirement that will allow for more time in the ministry of the church.

  • john wright

    elder/ADULT EDUCATION MINISTRY LEADER

    John Wright and his wife Trisha have four children. Both John and Trisha are graduates of Harding University. John went on to do his graduate work at Harding School of Theology in Memphis. 

    Ministry for John has always had a strong "community focus." Having served on a variety of community boards over the years. John is a member of the International Conference of Police Chaplains, serving as a law-enforcement chaplain 1979 - 2005. He is a certified member of C.E.R.T. (Citizen's Emergency Rescue Team), a task force set up to respond to September 11th type disasters.

    John's preaching style is conversational, integrating contemporary audio-visuals so as to connect more effectively with all age groups.

  • BRYAN JARVIS

    PREACHING MINISTER

    Bryan is the father of Dylan, who is a senior at the University of Central Oklahoma majoring in Marketing. Bryan grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana. He served four years in the United States Air Force as an Aircraft Maintenance Specialist (Crew Chief) on F-4 Aircraft. Bryan Graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Oklahoma Christian University, and obtain a Master’s Degree in Bible from Lubbock Christian University. He also studied Christian Spiritual Counseling at Scope Ministries International in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Bryan surrendered his life to Jesus at age 23 through the witness of a friend on a basketball court. Bryan’s joys are playing guitar, basketball and he is an avid reader.
