Scott & Cheryl met 18 years ago while attending Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas and have now been married for 14 years. Scott has a Bachelor degree in Accounting and is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) as well as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He has worked in a variety of businesses, including finance, insurance, and, most recently, aviation. Scott has always been interested in using his skills with non-profit organizations with a mission for serving others. Cheryl has both a Bachelor and Masters degree in Social Work as well as her professional license (LMSW). She has worked mainly in the child protection and mental health fields, including work with Child Protective Services (CPS) and running a youth shelter for children ages 0-12 in foster care. From a very young age, Cheryl has had a passion for serving and helping children in need and had a dream of living in Africa for long-term missions. They are currently using their skills as the new Directors of Neema House - Geita. Scott & Cheryl have four amazing boys: Caleb, Levi, Isaac, and Asher.
